Nona’s Negroni
A savory, herbaceous twist on the classic, inspired by long lunches, tomato vines, and your nona’s pantry.
Ingredients:
• 1 oz Supergay Fire Island Gin
• 1 oz Cynar (or artichoke amaro)
• 1 oz Sweet Vermouth
• 2 drops tomato leaf tincture (or muddled basil + strain)
• 1 dash celery bitters
• Garnish: Skewer with a cherry tomato, anchovy, and pickled chili
Instructions:
1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice.
2. Stir slowly until chilled and slightly diluted.
3. Strain into a rocks glass over one large cube.
4. Garnish with your Nona’s skewer—tomato, anchovy, chili.
